Inspiration and Coaching
for Woman
"You don't have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves..."
Wild Gees, Mary Oliver
Dear woman, I am so glad you are here!
I believe that we all carry an inner fire of a special kind.
The quality and taste of our unique person and soul.
I wish that all women could experience what it's like to live a Soul led, authentic, free and good life in their own fullest glory.
To be in close contact with themselves and their creative life force. Eros.
Be able to meet themselves with great understanding and love. Give themselves more relaxation, pleasure and time for deep listening and contemplation.
Have visions for their life´s, know what they truly value and wish to embody in their everyday life.
Know that their sensuality, sexual energy and the capacity to feel deeply, can be medicine and a way to awakening.
When paired with reverence, heart and presence.
But I also know that life as a woman includes unhelpful expectations, roles and structures that can slow us down and make it harder for us to find our place and inner power.
I want to be part of creating a culture where women are fully recognized, respected, valued and celebrated for who they are and how they contribute.
We humans have a tendency to treat and view ourselves as we have been treated by others. If we have been dominated, shamed, diminished and not tenderly cared for, we tend to have burdened parts inside of us that do the same.
We therefore need to look more closely at how we treat and are towards ourselves and other women. Be able to see what less loving and life-affirming patterns we repeat in our everyday lives. Heal these parts and clarify how we want to be and do instead.
I am interested in what we already are and what we can become.
The being and becoming process and what practices, rituals and contexts supports this exploration.
And it's not about performing more, but relaxing and living more in accordance with who you already are. Behind masks and survival strategies that were needed and learned along the way. We are all marked and shaped by the culture and norms we grew up with. It has seeped into us in the form of ideas, values, ways of holding our bodies, relating and prioritizing.
How we feel about our own value, our ability to choose and influence our situation.
If we want to live a more honest, free and soul aligned way, what it takes is committing to giving ourselves time for reflection, being and listening with the whole of our body´s intelligense, asking Soul strenghtening questions, relaxing and seek out supportive and empowering relationships.
Which many women, for many reasonable reasons, find it difficult to give themselves. But if we continue to let ourselves be distracted by things outside of ourselves, we cannot become and be ourselves. We lose our anchor, our connection with ourselves, our protective instincts, our dreams, our spark, intuition and sensitivity to what is good and bad for us.
When we are not in touch with our values, our calling, our bodies and emotions, we become vulnerable to manipulation, influence and exploitation. Both in relationships and worklife. We get drawn to consumption by believing that we are or don´t have enough.
The loss of sincere connection to ourselves can make us feel unsatisfied. Emotional symptoms such as anxiety, worry, depression, stress and irritability are common. With a sense and longing in the chest for something else. My advice is, follow that ache. Face it with curiosity and listen. Your body and soul are calling and reaching for you. Wanting you to stop and reconsider. Am I living in truth? With dignity for my own precious self and life itself? Or is a course correction needed? Life crises carries great potential. Something new is trying to emerge. Previously neglected sides and aspects of you want to be integrated and be welcommed out and play. Something you have not yet experienced or known before is waiting for you.
But without a supportive context, helpful practices, a therapist or mentor, it can be difficult for the individual to move through these passages in a fruitful way.
The process of Soul initiation is not a straight and easy road to take, but can feel more hopeful, even exciting and deeply meaningful with some understanding and guidance along the way.
"Eros is relevant for any human being who is interested in living a full human life, since it is the inherent energy of the zest and sparkle of our life force. When this is understood, desire and passion become a gateway to wholeness and to realizing our full potential"

“Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing. Her name is Wild Woman, but she is an endangered species. Although the gifts of the wildish nature come to us at birth, society's attempt to “civilize” us into rigid roles has plundered this treasure, and muffled the deep, life-giving messages of our own souls.”
-Clarissa Pinkola Estés

To mature as a woman and person
"You must ask for what you really want, don't go back to sleep"
- Rumi
Our maturation and liberation often goes through different phases.
The movement is towards a greater sense of wholeness and harmony within.
We may notice that we handle challenges differently. We feel more resilient and can give ourselves the support we need.
We become more creative and flexible in our expressions.
Which also makes our relationships with others more satisfying.
I believe we feel more whole and balanced when we can maintain our receptivity and sensitivity while still having access to decisiveness and power when needed.
Kristine Neff, professor of psychology and pioneer in the field of self-compassion, says the following
"This is why women need fierce compassion. Compassion is aimed at the alleviation of suffering – that of others or ourselves – and can be ferocious as well as tender. These two poles are represented by the dialectic of yin and yang. Yin compassion is like a mother tenderly comforting her crying child. Yang compassion is like a mother bear ferociously protecting her cubs from harm. Traditional gender roles allow women to be yin, but if a woman is too yang, if she gets angry or fierce people get scared and often insulting. Men are allowed to be yang, but if a man shows vulnerability he risks being kicked out of the boys' club of power. In many ways the MeToo movement can be seen as the collective rising of female yang. We are finally speaking up to protect ourselves, our sisters, our daughters and sons. Thank goodness. Women need to fully embrace and integrate both tender and fierce compassion if we are ever going to free ourselves from patriarchy" "It is challenging to hold loving, connected presence together with fierce, empowered truth because their energies feel so different. But we need to do so if we are going to effectively stand up to patriarchy, to racism, and the people in power that are destroying our planet. We need both simultaneously, as advocated by great leaders such as Mahatma Gandhi, Mother Theresa, or Martin Luther King, Jr. We need love in our hearts so we don't perpetuate a cycle of anger and hate, but we need fierceness so that we don't let things continue on their current harmful path.”
